¡Hola! it’s been a good week this
week. I’m with my new comp now and I am loving things. He is great. He is 19
and full of the spirit. He is not afraid to put himself out there ether, to go
out and work. I’m loving being with him and working with him.
In terms of our investigators, they
are doing pretty good. Just this week one of our strongest moved out of our
sector over to another. It was sad. She is still in the mission, though, so we
are getting missionaries over to her as soon as we can. As for Juan, we had
trouble meeting with him this week so we are hoping things will pick up with
him.
Other than that, we are still in the
process of trying to find and teach new people. School is just starting up for
all the kids here, so we are hoping that we can start to find more people now.
This week has been a good one. I can
feel the hand of the lord this week and it came in an interesting way. So Monday
and Tuesday before, I went and picked up my new comp. I was with Elder Woodis. And
as I spent the day with him, it was terrible. I couldn’t speak Spanish or seem
to teach with any kind of clarity and it had me really worried. So Tuesday, in
the morning, I read a lot in D&C and I really felt it speaking to me words
of comfort and love. Especially the phrase ¨ no dudarías ni temías´´ or in
other words, doubt not fear not. So that’s what I choose to do. Not fear and
not give up and I feel the lord filling in what I lack. I know that same strength
is for everyone. Doubt not fear not and the lord will provide
