HONESTLY A SLOW WEEK

¡Hola! So, this week was a bit of a harder on, very slow for our sector. So, the thing about it is that during February, it’s been said, that all of Santiago leaves and goes on vacations. So our investigator pool shrunk a lot this week. Both Edit, Sabina, and more, were all out for this week and probably the next. On the bright side, we did get to meet with Pamela and everything is set. Her baptism will be this week on the seventh, and I’m way excited. She is awesome. This is kinda like a free gift baptism. I got to the sector and she was ready to go. I’m still super excited to see her progress.

Other than that, we have had some people that will talk with us. Just recently, Rodrigo and his wife, are starting to progress- which is awesome. They are an older couple (Both in there 80s.) We gave them a pamphlet on the restoration and the husband read though it 2 and asked some questions. We gave them a Book of Mormon yesterday with a challenge to read it and I’m hoping they do. The sad part is that the doctors say Rodrigo only has 2 months to live. His wife is having troubles because of that and we are hoping we can bring them some comfort.

Other then that, this week has been a lot of contacting ALOT. Its interesting to do contacts and meet so many different people with such different perspectives. Also, you learn a lot about patience and how to love the people. We all need to love more- even if the people are mean to us and try to tear us down. If we respond with tearing down, nothing good comes. We must be as the Savior and turn the other check.  Love those who curse and bless those that do us harm.

This church is true. I know it with all my heart and if we endure with love, the Lord will bless us with miracles. He is doing it for me and will do it for you too.
