TWO YEARS MUCH TWO FAST

Hola! well this week has been a very wet week it’s been raining just about every day since last Wednesday. sometimes off and on, sometimes very hard rain, but it’s been great. The air has been cleaner and we have had some beautiful views of the mountains. It’s been an amazing answer to many prayers here in Chile. Well this week has been a good week we actually found some new investigators this week which just goes to show no matter how many times you get rejected there is always someone to open the door. Also, this week, we learned that president cook will be closing our sector when we go. we feel okay with that cause right now there are 4 missionaries in the sector and really is not have enough people for 4 so it will be reduced to 2. so we have been doing a lot of splits with the other elders so they can get to know our people.
As the title says, it’s been a very fast 2 years. I’m now in my last week of the mission and this will be my last blog post. I have loved the work I have loved being a missionary there truly is no greater work in this world than that of missionary work. this has been time that will mark my life forever the people I have met and the things I have learned. most of all the greatest thing has been how I have come to know my savior Jesus Christ I know truly he died for all of us that he lives and watches over all of us. I have felt his presence and have felt his love seen his hand and his miracles in my life I know all I am is thanks to the fact that he is. I love him and this church I know it is true.
I know the mission does not end when the name tag comes off I know the lord has other works and duties planned for me. I’m excited to come back and work shoulder to shoulder with all of you. my time in this part of the vineyard has come to an end but I’m very excited to keep working with all of you.
thank you all so much for all that you do all you have done and all you will do lets all work together to keep the lords work moving forward ever forward.
les quiero les amo Jesus es el salvador de todos. le amo y se que el ama a mi

RIGHT PLACE RIGHT TIME

¡Hola! Well this week was an amazing week. The first thing I want to talk about is what happened last Wednesday night. Me and my comp had a crazy experience. So Wendnesday night our cita had fallen as they often do, so we decided to go visit our less active named Octavio. He is a super cool guy. We go by his house and knock and knock and no one answers then as we walk away my comp tells me to call them. We call and Octavio’s little daughter answered and said ´´Elders can you come to my house, my dad passed out. So we run back. Carolina (the daughter), lets us in and there is Octavio on the ground having trouble breathing. We try talking to him but he doesn’t answer.  We could tell he was breathing but nothing else. So we call the ambulance and as we do, he begins to shake on the ground like he was having a seizure. We tried to keep his head from hitting anything. He then calmed down and was knocked out, just breathing and heartbeat. My comp stayed with him and I ran down stairs to get his wife. Then we waited for the ambulance, which was the most painstaking hour and a half wait of my life. That’s right AN HOUR AND A HALF for the ambulance to come and Octavio lives literally 5 block from the hospital. Well after a few calls, trying to guide the ambulance here they come but by then Octavio was better he was sitting up and it okay. They talked it over with the medics and they said it was probably caused by stress. and they left. truly the lord had put us in the right place at the right time. if we weren’t there I think that would have turned out a whole lot worse. the spirit works in small ways just a whisper. ´´hey call him´´ to my comp made all the difference
It’s amazing the things the lord will have us do if we listen to his spirit. that was the most shocking thing of the week. we also had a chance to help out Octavio later on paint his walls in his house.

Sadly Hermano Amigo is still drunk, we haven’t found him sober yet in 2 weeks but we are praying for him. his wife Eliza is as strong as ever. we continue in the search for new people we have found some great ones. Walter ( I don’t know if I talked about him last week) he is really progressing he was someone who wanted nothing to do with churches but on Saturday when we passed by he was excited and ready to keep learning. I think great things are going to come from him. it’s been great not exactly and easy week but when things are hard they become so much more meaningful I hope you all have a great week and keep on keeping on.
