2 Weeks Down

Hola everyone! It’s been an great week. I feel that I’m learning so much here in the CCM. Today was a holiday week (for me :) ) It was Chiles Independence Day and they don’t just party one day they party for a week. It was cool we got to go out and go to a festival kind of like peach days but bigger- a lot bigger. It was cool to get out and see all the people I still understand almost nothing of what they say but I have learned to give parts of lessons in Spanish just and bear a simple testimony. it is so much fun here I have a great district they are kind of goof offs a little too much so sometimes but they all have super powerful testimonies of this gospel and they all have a strong desire to do good and be great missionary.

Yesterday was an interesting day because there is a group leaving out to the field and it was amazing to see the love that everyone develops so quickly here. I have only been here two weeks and I loved the people who left. They where amazing my roommates elder Burnham and elder Wilkes where so nice and such a powerful spirit to them. So I guess my message for this week is one of love. True love Christ like love. I’m now sure more than ever how we develop that love. Its though sharing spiritual experiences. Truly this week has showed me the power that the spirit has in changing hearts and softening them. Especially for my district I have only known them for two weeks but in that time we have grown so close. I love the people in my district and have the strongest desire to help them to be the best they can be.

It is the same for all of us Jesus said to love thy neighbor as thyself and the way for that to happen is to 1 have the desire to love them 2 don’t be afraid to share your spirit and testimony with them. That will be you close. 3 serve them seek after their welfare pray for them and by doing so the lord will bless them and you that all may be edified together.

That’s really all I have for this week so much happens so fast it’s hard to choose what to talk about I love in so much here it is such a joyful and happy place

Zero Week

Zero week

Well that’s what it’s called in the military. That is the first week here at the CCM (MTC in Spanish) It has been a crazy 5 or so days I’m not really sure because I kind of lose track of it all. They really throw you in head first here at the CCM. Into everything the gospel Spanish. I got my companion, his name is Elder Dirkmaat. He is way awesome and super good at Spanish. I’m loving it here I really am. I have learned so much so fast- especially with Spanish its been amazing. I got here with a large group of other missionaries and 12 of us got put in a district together and I was assigned as district leader. So I conduct meetings, do lessons on Sunday, all the normal stuff. Also get to be responsible to make sure everyone is on time and stuff. Not going to lie, it’s a bit scary because out of everyone I am worst at Spanish. But other than that, it’s just been a few days of intense learning and studying and its not ending anytime soon. One thing I want to share one thing that they stress a lot here is to love your investigators because without love we can’t teach or invite others to come unto Christ. For the rest of you that’s not much because you don’t have investigators (well if you do the good job) but truly we should do our best to love those who we are around and try our best to be happy and loving. Well that’s my message for this week have a great week I know I will
